Plan templates — three worked examples

Three preset plans you can use as-is, edit after creating, or just study as worked examples.

SmilePass ships three Recommended Templates — Essential, Comprehensive and Premium. Clicking a template opens a preview modal showing its description and included services; pressing Use Template creates the plan immediately with those preset values, which you can then edit (it's a one-click commit — there's no "load into an editable form first" step). The templates give you the included-services and benefit structure; you set your own price to suit your market.

They're useful two ways: as fast starting points, or as reference examples of how a well-shaped plan is built.

Essential Plan

The Essential Plan is ideal for individuals and families looking for a balanced approach to dental care with budget-friendly options. Covering all your routine needs, this plan keeps your smile bright and healthy with essential preventive care and special rates on treatments.

The natural entry tier in a three-tier offering — it covers the most common preventive visits, so it's an easy first yes for new members.

Comprehensive Plan

This plan is built to address every aspect of dental health, providing full preventive care with additional protection against urgent needs.

How to use the templates

Two healthy ways to use them:

1. Use Template, then customise. Press Use Template to create the plan instantly, then open it from the Membership Builder list and set the price and adjust the included services, locations, discounts and terms to fit your practice.
2. Read them, then build your own. Don't press Use Template — use the three as a reference for what a balanced plan looks like, then build your own from scratch via Create New Plan.

Either way, the price is yours to set — the templates only seed the included services and benefits, not a price.
